Don't forget to check out our "Card" page to view the new 2010 selection and order form.Please tell your friends, family and colleagues about our Christmas cards. We accept corporate and individual orders. Proceeds from our greeting card sales (private and corporate) help fund the studio. Our cards will also be available for purchase at the studio.

The New Art Festival Central Park, the Glebe Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6, 2010, 10 am to 5 pm "Ottawa's largest, non-profit, non-commerical outdoor art exhibition....free admission....see original art and meet the artists....this annual event draws thousands of visitors and participants from across Canada and around the world...." THE 2009 JANE CAMERON AWARD

H’Art Studio is very pleased and excited to announce:
Jessica Whitney, one of our artists, is the winner of the 2009 Jane Cameron Award! The Jane Cameron Archives Committee (JCAC) and the Canadian Down Syndrome Society (CDSS) established an annual national award for a person with Down Syndrome who displays expertise in the area of the arts. Congratulations to Jessica! Another H’Art Artist, Analisa Kiskis received an honourable mention. Congratulations to Analisa!

H'ART OF OTTAWA PRESENTED WITH EDUCATION AWARD
The Celebration of People Awards, December 2005
presented H'Art of Ottawa with the Education Award. Celebration of People marked the United Nations International Day of Disabled Persons. The Celebration of People Awards Dinner honoured 11 individuals and organizations whose innovations and vision create opportunities for people with disabilities to live, work and play in our community.

H'ART OF OTTAWA GREETING CARDS
H'Art of Ottawa's cards are inspired by the studio artists' paintings. Our cards are available for purchase at the studio.

Proceeds from our greeting card sales (private and corporate) help our art studio continue to provide creative, entrepreneurial-based art and literacy programming for adults with developmental disabilities.

FUNDING
H'Art of Ottawa is generously funded by United Way. The balance of our funding has also come from The Ontario Trillium Foundation, The Down Syndrome Association - National Capital Region, The Community Foundation of Ottawa, as well as day program fees and sales of paintings and greeting cards.

Through the greater Ottawa community and through active participation and facilitated activities such as art shows, the artists of H'Art have the opportunity to represent and present their abilities and talents. We would like to thank the following organizations for their support:
