THE 2009 JANE CAMERON AWARD
H’Art Studio is very pleased and excited to announce:
Jessica Whitney, one of our artists, is the winner of the 2009 Jane Cameron Award! The Jane Cameron Archives Committee (JCAC) and the Canadian Down Syndrome Society (CDSS) established an annual national award for a person with Down Syndrome who displays expertise in the area of the arts. Congratulations to Jessica! Another H’Art Artist, Analisa Kiskis received an honourable mention. Congratulations to Analisa!

H'ART OF OTTAWA PRESENTED WITH EDUCATION AWARD
The Celebration of People Awards, December 2005
presented H'Art
of Ottawa with the Education Award. Celebration of People
marked the United Nations International Day of Disabled
Persons. The Celebration of People Awards Dinner honoured
11 individuals and organizations whose innovations and
vision create opportunities for people with disabilities
to live, work and play in our community.

paintings. Our cards are available for purchase
at the studio.
Proceeds from our greeting card sales (private and
corporate) help our art studio continue to provide
creative, entrepreneurial-based art and literacy
programming for adults with developmental disabilities.
