A community based travelling compartmental gallery that houses temporary artwork and moves between neighbourhood community centres. H'art artists are randomly featured.

A wonderful collaboration between McNabb and H'Art. H'Art artists created a mural for the McNabb Centre and in return, McNabb provided the artists with three weeks of pottery lessons. Special thanks to Pray Bhindi, Jan and Yolanda.

Saw gallery chose one of our artists, Irene B., to participate in this exhibit.

"A refreshing look at the influences of outsider art on contemporary art practices, the smash exhibition Band of Outsiders brings together 13 emerging and established artists from the Ottawa and Gatineau regions. Expanding upon the definition of outsider art, the exhibition includes a wild array of contemporary, folk, intuitive and naive art, displaying the personal and visionary work of Angie the Barbarian, Irene Beck, JeanGuy, JP Danys, Marika Jemma, Anne Johnson, Karen Jordan, Mike Hewko, Trevor Laalo, Ron Noganosh, Rene Price, Herman Ruhland and Tina Tolgyesy."

H'Art also participated in the art fair held on the same night as the opening.

Mayor Bob Chiarelli hosted the First Annual Mayor's Art Festival at Ottawa City Hall in honour of its 150th Anniversary. H'Art of Ottawa was featured among the works of 150 local artists.

H'Art Display at Olga's Delights

An exhibition of 28 pieces of art created by the participants was displayed at Olga's. It was a wonderful opportunity for the community to gain awareness of our program, and for the artists being profiled. Two paintings were sold.
